While working at a call center, Maria was having a hard time balancing her work, kids, and self care. All of that slowly began to change when she decided to take on calligraphy as a hobby. This helped her to initially unwind and de-stress.
Slowly and organically, Deco Ink was born, and doing great as a business. After a bump in the road in 2017, Maria had to put everything on pause for a month, until her husband decided to invest in her to get business up and running again.
So Maria quit her job, and went all in on Deco Ink! Now business is booming again, and Deco Ink thrives on creating custom laser cut signs, teaching calligraphy at a local art shop, and running an Etsy shop.
